As a student at the University of Florida, I always look forward to the release of the academic calendar for the upcoming year. It helps me plan my schedule, anticipate important deadlines and events, and make the most of my time on campus. With the 2024-2025 UF academic calendar now available, I wanted to take a closer look at what this year has in store for students.

Important Dates to Remember

The academic calendar for the 2024-2025 school year includes several important dates that students should be aware of. Classes for the fall semester will begin on August 26, 2024, and end on December 6, 2024. The spring semester will begin on January 8, 2025, and end on April 28, 2025. There will be a week-long break for Thanksgiving from November 25-29, 2024, and a longer break for winter recess from December 7, 2024, to January 7, 2025.
