As a student at Hillsborough Community College, I always look forward to the Fall semester and the exciting events that come with it. With the release of the Fall 2024 calendar, I am already planning out my schedule to make sure I don’t miss any of the exciting events and festivals that will take place on campus.

The Fall 2024 calendar is packed with events and festivals, from academic workshops to cultural celebrations. One of the most anticipated events is the Welcome Back Bash, which takes place on the first day of classes. This event is a great opportunity for students to meet new people and get involved on campus. There will be food, music, games, and more!
In addition to the Welcome Back Bash, there are several other events that I am looking forward to. The Fall Festival is always a highlight of the semester, with pumpkin carving, apple cider, and other fall-themed activities. There will also be a Diwali celebration, a Hispanic Heritage Month event, and a Veterans Day ceremony.
Details about the Celebrations
The Diwali celebration is one of my favorite events on the calendar. It is a celebration of the Hindu festival of lights, and it always features beautiful decorations, traditional food, and performances by HCC students. The Hispanic Heritage Month event is also a great opportunity to learn about the culture and traditions of Latin America. There will be music, dance, and plenty of food!
The Veterans Day ceremony is a solemn and respectful event that honors the men and women who have served our country. It is always a moving experience, and I am proud to be a part of a college community that takes the time to recognize and thank our veterans.
